The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled leader who can lead our team of 20 staff. You will be expected to learn how to lead a team of Educators to ensure they are working in accordance with the service philosophy, policy and procedures, and as per the National Quality Standards (NQS), to provide high-quality education and care for all enrolled children.

You will primarily be non-teaching, leading the team through positive engagement, role modelling, and mentorship.

- Strong understanding of industry legislation, compliance and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong and confident in an understanding of business management.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team setting.
- Strong understanding of the importance of family communications
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Passionate about implementing early learning programs
- Bachelor's in early childhood education (approved by ACECQA) or working towards this qualification/ Diploma Education and Care minimum 2yrs experience
- Experience within the industry.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- National Police Check.
- Ability to work shifts between 7.30am - 6:00pm full time Monday to Friday
- A sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- The ability to develop effective & positive working relationships.
- An understanding of policies, procedures and regulations.
- Desire to continually learn and add value to our childcare centres.
- Ability to make businessdecisions and work with assigned budgets.




- Experience managing a services day to day operations and managing teams.
