Responsibilities
Provide consultation and liaison to Nepean Hospital and associated outpatient clinics. Work with the interdisciplinary team to improve collaboration between mental health and other hospital services. Contribute to key clinical decisions and therapeutic modalities. Participate in a district‑wide after‑hours roster. Provide teaching and supervision to medical and non‑medical staff.
Qualifications & Experience
- AHPRA registration or eligibility
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZP) or equivalent
- Current NSW driver’s licence
- Experience in providing high‑quality mental health services in a psychiatry setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills,
including word‑processing for documentation
- Teaching and supervision experience, consistent with contemporary best practice
- Commitment to clinical governance, quality improvement and evidence‑based practice
- Familiarity with clinical and applied research activities relevant to the Mental Health Service
- WWCC clearance and required vaccinations
