Senior Information Security Consultant (12 Month Contract)
Reporting to the Head of Information Security, the Senior Information Security Consultant is a 12‑month contract opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide a wide range of security advisory services to business and technology stakeholders to help develop solutions that address current and emerging information security and compliance requirements.
- Engage with and educate business unit leaders, platform owners and technical teams about their information security responsibilities and accountabilities to establish appropriate security practices throughout the lifecycle of projects and initiatives.
About you
- Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in information security, particularly in project consulting.
- Background as an internal consultant for a nimble, fast‑paced organisation within the financial services and/or insurance sector.
- Solid technical background in security controls and technology, with an understanding of security architecture and design, and pragmatic business acumen for regulated environments.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders, influencing and making recommendations to improve overall security posture.

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Salary range: A$83,489.00–A$100,702.00 for the contract role.
