The Role
We are seeking a strategic, driven and highly visible leader to join the leadership team as Program Coordinator – Student Services, as a key member of the Schools Leadership Team. The Program Coordinator – Student Services will lead and manage a large, diverse and cohesive Student Services team to ensure successful implementation and monitoring processes for managing student wellbeing. The role requires clear, strategic and sustainable focus on a positive school environment for all students, operational and strategic leadership, and well-developed physical, financial and human resource skills. High level skills with managing educationally at-risk students – including knowledge of effective intervention, monitoring and reporting strategies in accordance with Department policy and guidelines – are highly desirable. Demonstrated capacity to work with external agencies and stakeholders is highly valued. As a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) school, you will lead tier 2 interventions for students at educational risk, support whole‑school implementation of PBS, and develop related processes, policies and practices. The ability to plan, communicate effectively, build strong teams, work within budget,
set and meet deadlines and respond flexibly to changing situations and challenges is essential. The successful applicant will embrace a personal commitment to the college STAR values and the school’s commitment to Real Schools.

Eligibility
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
- Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
