Construction Planner

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project Managers to produce accurate monthly status reports and implement a new reporting system, including site visits to ongoing Sydney projects.
- Ensure construction data reflects project progress through on‑site engagement.
- Contribute to tender programmes, methodologies and strategic guidance during submissions.
- Deliver compelling client presentations.
- Stay up‑to‑date on construction techniques for project integration and optimize construction efficiency through detailed building‑sequence markup.
- Incorporate best construction techniques into tenders and drawings.
- Develop logical program sequences and validate durations with input from subcontractors and the bid team.
- Transform tender programmes into contract versions, ensuring compliance with contractual conditions.
- Implement monthly reporting protocols, provide training, and maintain accurate records.
- Create precise construction programmes, collaborate with site teams, and monitor on‑site activities.
- Adhere to quality procedures and maintain uniformity in project calendars and programme appearances.
- Fulfil head‑contract obligations and effectively manage client relationships.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project team members.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in building construction is a must.
- Proven construction planning experience and method engineering expertise.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and planning principles.
- Proficiency in planning software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality.
- Proactive problem‑solving abilities.
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
