OSHC Service Leader – Glengarry OSHC
Location: Glengarry, VIC 3854. Position type: Permanent part time (approximately 30 hours per week). Salary: $33.46 per hour (negotiable), 17.5% leave loading, plus salary packaging benefits of up to $15,900, a $2,650 meals benefit, 60% discount on childcare subsidy gap fee, 25% discount at a Uniting Op Shop, up to 10 weeks paid parental leave (4 weeks for secondary caregivers), and the ability to purchase additional leave.

Role Overview
As the OSHC Service Leader you will oversee and lead the strategic and operational management of Glengarry OSHC. You will drive quality, sustainability, and service delivery, ensuring the program meets National Quality Standards and the National Quality Framework. You will support your team to provide high‑quality care and learning experiences.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated organisational skills to juggle competing priorities and manage timelines
- Experience in people management, supervision, performance management and administration
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional writing ability
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHC operational requirements and the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
- Knowledge of child development and quality care practices
- Experience developing quality within a service and shaping performance, including learning and leisure experiences for children
- Experience facilitating employee learning and development
- Experience in supervising, managing, and rostering employees
- Knowledge of legislative frameworks and organisational requirements
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check / Working with Vulnerable Persons Check
- Must be applicable for the State in which the service operates
- Diploma of Children’s Services or equivalent qualification (other accredited qualifications are acceptable)
