The Facilities Management Directorate plays a vital role in shaping the physical environment of our campuses, ensuring they are safe, tidy, functional, and aligned with our strategic goals.
As Manager, Estate Services, you will lead a small, high‑performing team responsible for CQUniversity’s property portfolio, including leasing, housing, disposals, space planning, and the University’s art collection. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will contribute to master planning, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of professionalism and accountability.
You will work closely with the Director and stakeholders across the University to deliver high‑impact estate services that enhance the experience of students, staff, and visitors.

Position Requirements
Significant experience in commercial estate or property management, preferably within a complex, multi‑site environment.
Demonstrated success in managing commercial,
industrial and retail leases and space planning.
Robust analytical, planning, and negotiation skills.
Experience in developing and managing multi‑year budgets.
Understanding of WHS legislation, sustainability practices, and risk management in a facilities context.
Understanding of sustainability and environmental planning principles (desirable).
