The Executive Manager, Recruitment is responsible for the leadership, management and delivery of statewide recruitment and advisory services to meet operational requirements and achieve quality organisational outcomes. The role ensures the delivery of contemporary recruitment practices which contribute to the realisation of QAS strategic objectives and whole of government priorities relating to diversity, equity, inclusion.

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- Demonstrated high level experience to lead and manage internal and external recruitment services within a complex operational/multidisciplinary environment and a proven track record of introducing new initiatives or leading effective change to support continual improvements.
- Proven strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of HR professionals in specialised recruitment practices to achieve QAS objectives.
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills to develop, plan, implement and evaluate HR recruitment project initiatives within a complex organisation to achieve business outcomes.
- Proven ability to provide authoritative advice to senior personnel on a range of complex and sensitive issues and the ability to prepare and present submissions, reports and briefings.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication negotiation, consultation skills with proven ability to identify and resolve workforce issues by using an creative approach and the ability to always communicate skilfully with the utmost respect for all people.
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues and strategies including government policies, employment legislation, awards and trends with proven ability to apply such knowledge in complex public sector organisations
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
- Whilst not mandatory, possession of relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification/s in human resources is highly regarded.
