About the Job
As an Employment Consultant you will:
- Provide comprehensive case management services to participants to help them manage employment‑related barriers and equip them with tools and skills to enter the workforce
- Help each participant secure sustainable employment and engage employers through referrals, reverse marketing and on‑the‑job support
- Provide continuous support to participants and employers to maximise outcomes, obtaining documented evidence and facilitating workplace adjustments throughout the course of employment
- Achieve or exceed all KPIs and apply an outcome‑focused, high‑performance approach
- Maintain a high level of administration,
compliance and time management in line with Department requirements based on a sound understanding of Deed and Guidelines
- Engage with internal and external partners to connect participants with wrap‑around services such as training providers, allied health services and other community organisations
About You
- Relevant qualifications in Employment Services, Community Services or a related field is desirable
- Previous experience in employment services including barrier management, reverse marketing, placement of candidates and post‑placement support is highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to communicate through various methods with a wide range of stakeholders
- A team player with a personal commitment to contribute to great culture
- Ability to proactively problem‑solve, overcome objections and assist in managing barriers for people living with disability
- Performance‑focused mindset and proven experience achieving business targets and KPIs
- Must hold a driver’s licence as travel throughout the region will be required
