About Our Client
Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation in the security services sector, specialising in the delivery of integrated guarding, manpower, and basic electronic security solutions. With a strong reputation for service excellence and innovation, they support a diverse portfolio of commercial, government, and critical infrastructure clients.
About the Role
- Full-time, Sydney-based Business Development Manager position focused on guarding and manpower services.
- Identify and engage high-value clients in guarding, mobile patrols, concierge, and manpower services.
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline through proactive research and outreach.
- Prepare proposals, tenders, and quotations in collaboration with operations and compliance teams.
- Attend client meetings, presentations, and site visits to develop tailored service solutions.
- Drive long and complex sales cycles with consistent stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and provide detailed sales activity reports.
- Collaborate across guarding, electronics, compliance, and operations teams to ensure cohesive client delivery.
- Design commercially viable guarding solutions and contribute to service design, pricing, and negotiation strategies.
- Liaise with the electronics team to identify opportunities for integrated security offerings.
The Successful Candidate
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, account management, or operations within the security guarding industry.
- Solid understanding of security personnel management and service delivery.
- Working knowledge of basic electronic security systems (e.g., CCTV, alarms, access control).
- Proven experience preparing and winning tenders or commercial proposals.
- Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
- Holds a current NSW Security Licence (minimum Class 2B) and NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Exposure to electronic security system integration or monitoring centres is desirable.
- Experience with rostering/compliance systems (e.g., Guardhouse, simPRO) and managing large commercial or multi-site accounts is advantageous.
- Commercially minded, customer-focused, and a confident communicator with solid relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
- Self-driven, disciplined, results-oriented, and collaborative.
