As the Senior HR Advisor, you will work as a trusted partner to our leaders and support our employees locally by providing key HR operational and strategic support.
This is a fantastic prospect to work across the entire employee lifecycle in a true generalist & hands‑on role, from talent development, performance management and employee relations to working on strategic initiatives and projects in our region.
Responsibilities
- Provide HR generalist advice on employment relations, including performance management processes, grievances, investigations, and separations.
- Partner with business leaders, coaching them to proactively manage people issues.
- Conduct medium‑complexity workplace investigations and prepare comprehensive documentation and recommendations; develop performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Support the entire employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, termination, and HRIS record maintenance.
- Assist with core HR processes such as annual reviews, succession planning and development cycles.
- Coordinate changes in Workday relating to employee personnel records to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years proven experience in HR generalist or advisory capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing and blue‑collar environment is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships with key stakeholders and leaders.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment law, modern awards, Fair Work Act and NES compliance.
