About the role
The National Health & Fitness Academy is seeking a talented People & Culture Coordinator to join our passionate team in our Brisbane office. In this full‑time role, you will play a key part in supporting our growing business through the coordination of all people and culture activities.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide end‑to‑end recruitment support, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for new hires
- Manage the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation
- Administer and maintain employee records and documentation
- Assist with the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Coordinate employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
- Provide HR administrative support and general enquiry management
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and address people and culture priorities
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar people and culture or HR coordinator role
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across the business
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Experience with HRIS systems (Employment Hero preferred) and HR‑related software is highly desirable
- A genuine passion for supporting and developing people within a growing organisation
