Operations and Supply Chain Manager

ONTAP Products is one of Australia's fastest growing outdoor brands. Our products are used by more than twenty thousand customers and stocked in major retailers like ARB. We operate both an Australian made production line and an overseas manufacturing program for our new ONTAP Roam product.
We are looking for a Operations and Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of production, supply chain, warehouse and 3PL performance, ecommerce operations, business insurances, and the systems that support our next stage of growth.
About the role
This is a broad and impactful senior role. You will manage production across two supply chains, coordinate suppliers, lead logistics and freight, oversee our warehouse and 3PL, and ensure that ecommerce orders flow smoothly. You will also own facilities management, business insurances, and the setup of operational systems that help us scale.
Your focus is on the key operational engines of the business. You will work closely with the founder and have support from warehouse staff and external partners. You will be part of a lean driven team who loves getting outdoors and making adventure gear that improves the way people explore.
Key responsibilities
Production and supply chain
• Manage domestic production schedules for our Australian made model
• Coordinate overseas manufacturing, sampling, QA, and approvals
• Forecast inventory and manage ordering cycles
• Maintain certification documents and supplier communication
Warehouse, 3PL, and ecommerce operations
• Oversee warehouse operations, stock control, and dispatch quality
• Manage stock transfers between our warehouse and 3PL
• Monitor 3PL performance and accuracy
• Oversee Shopify order flow for fulfilment and customer experience
Logistics and freight
• Manage domestic and international freight partners
• Improve packaging, dispatch speed,
and delivery reliability
• Prepare retail orders to spec including labelling and compliance
Facilities, assets, and insurances
• Manage warehouse lease, safety, equipment, and maintenance
• Maintain company vehicle registrations and servicing
• Oversee all business insurance policies and renewals
Systems and improvement
• Build SOPs for production, logistics, QC, and ecommerce
• Create reporting for forecasting, stock, and supplier performance
• Drive cost, margin, and operational improvements across the business
About you
You are a strong operator with experience across supply chain, logistics, warehouse management, and ecommerce fulfilment. You enjoy building structure, improving processes, and taking ownership in a growing business. You can work across both Australian and overseas manufacturing and are comfortable leading complex operational workflows.
You will bring:
• Experience in consumer goods, hardware, outdoor gear, or similar products
• Strong supply chain and logistics experience
• Ecommerce and 3PL management experience
• Ability to manage facilities, assets, and business insurances
• Solid planning, forecasting, and project management skills
• A practical, organised, and solutions focused approach
Candidates must have Australian work authorisation at time of application.
A minimum of 3-5 years of supply chain and logistics experience is required.
At least 1-2 years of overseas manufacturing experience is required to effectively manage complex operational workflows.
