The School of Medical and Health Sciences is home to teaching and research in Medical and Biomedical Sciences, Allied Health, and Exercise and Sports Sciences, as well as in Public, Occupational and Environmental Health. Our world-class research is rapidly translated to provide solutions to some of the key health issues facing our community.
About the Chance
The ECU Master of Nutrition and Dietetics program is delivered in modern, state of the art facilities on the Joondalup campus of the university. Dietetics is part of the Allied Health Discipline, alongside Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Sonography, and Paramedicine. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced dietitian with the relevant practice and teaching experience to join our team as a Lecturer.
The appointee will be an important member of the Dietetics team, contributing to teaching, research, and scholarly activities within the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics and across Allied Health.
About you
Be an Accredited Practising Dietitian, with at least 5 years industry experience.
Have experience in the development and delivery of research-informed teaching in tertiary education and/or within a dietetic or related context.
Have a developing research track record, including research outputs.
Have a demonstrated ability to collaborate with community partners, including those from industry and with lived experience.
Have a high degree of interpersonal skills, including teamwork and leadership, communication and negotiating skills.
Completion of a PhD or undertaking a higher degree in an appropriate field will be highly regarded but is not essential. Experience with student supervision will also be highly regarded.
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.
