Ascend Recruit are looking for a Design Manager or Senior Designer to lead creative direction and design excellence across commercial fit-out projects throughout Brisbane. About the Role:
You’ll own design across a range of commercial projects, from concept through to completion, ensuring spaces are functional, stylish, and aligned with client expectations. You’ll mentor the design team, collaborate with clients and project teams, and help shape the creative vision of the business.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead design direction across commercial fit-outs, maintaining high standards and innovation.
- Mentor and support a small team while managing workflow and resources.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to deliver outstanding spaces.
- Ensure design consistency and quality across all projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7+ years in commercial interior design or fit-out projects, including senior or lead experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, problem-solving, and successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple projects.
