**About the Opportunity**
The Principal Advisor Triage (Psychosocial) is responsible for coordinating and undertaking the development, implementation and review of programs, functions and services that ensure the timely and appropriate triaging of complaints and notifiable incidents with a primary focus on psychosocial complaints and notifications. The role manages, guides and develops a team of Information Offices in the delivery of high quality services to SafeWork SA and its customers.
The Principal Advisor Triage, manages, monitors and reviews significant incidents and complaints in line with the triage procedure and escalates to an industry team for response. Other responses required of the role include referring the matter to other more appropriate authorities, writing to the relevant duty holder to advise them of the complaint/notification received and requesting that they review the relevant parts of their safety management system (an administrative response), or taking no further action.

SafeWork SA is a business unit within Attorney-General’s Department and is responsible for providing work, health and safety, public safety, and state-based industrial relations services across South Australia. As a regulator,
our Investigators and Inspectors ensure work, health and safety, and public safety standards are met, and appropriate action is taken when breaches of laws are detected. We also help people better understand their work health and safety responsibilities.

**Special Conditions for Employment**
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
