- Lead the implementation of formative assessment, ensuring practices are valid, reliable, and aligned with NESA and the NSW Curriculum.
- Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive, quality rubrics for all Key Learning Areas (KLAs), including English, Mathematics, HSIE, Science, CAPA, and PDHPE.
- Facilitate data-informed conversations across staff, providing expert analysis of school, state, and national testing data (NAPLAN, PAT, AGAT, eWrite) to drive whole-school improvement initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of systemic, state, and national testing requirements, ensuring smooth administration and post-test analysis.
- Provide targeted qualified learning, support, and mentoring to staff to enhance their assessment literacy, data interpretation, and the ability to use data effectively for differentiated instruction.
- Coordinate the use of learning monitoring systems (e.g., MiniLit and MaqLit tracking) to monitor student progress within the Multi-Tiered System of Supports.
