About the role:
Our Host Employer, based in Cowra, is a cornerstone of the agricultural industry. Their many years of personal experience in the farming industry provide valuable insight into the design of their products and services. In this Heavy Fabrication Apprenticeship, you will learn to assemble products, operate a MIG welder and use an oxy and plasma cutter. You will also;
- Weld, cut and shape metal components for large-scale agricultural equipment using various welding and fabrication techniques
- Learn to read and follow engineering drawings
- Operate workshop machinery and tools to prepare and finish components
- Fit and assemble parts to exact specs as part of the manufacturing process
This role is located in Cowra, working Monday to Friday 7.00am – 3.00pm
2nd Stage/ current Apprentices are highly encouraged to apply!

About you:
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Minimum completion of Year 10 High School
- Cert II Engineering (essential) or a current 2nd Stage Engineering – Fabrication Apprentice
- Driver’s License and reliable transport
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for working with metal
