Are you passionate about trees, green spaces, and contributing to a thriving urban environment? We are seeking a dedicated Arboriculture Maintenance Worker to join our team and help care for the valuable tree assets across our municipality.
About the Role
In this hands-on role, you will play an important part in preserving and enhancing the health, safety, and appearance of Council’s CBD, Botanic Gardens and landscaped assets. Working within a supportive workplace, you will carry out maintenance, inspections, and improvement works across a diverse range of streetscapes, parks, and high-profile public areas.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to high standards of horticultural and arboricultural care. You will have:
- Experience in arboriculture, horticulture, or tree maintenance (or related field)
- Knowledge of tree health, pruning techniques, and safe work practices
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- A willingness to contribute your technical expertise to improve Council’s green assets
The Benefits
This is a permanent full time position and carries a base salary of $68,751 per annum (including industry allowance), excluding superannuation.
