CASUAL CLEANING ROLE – JOIN THE KOOKI TEAM

Kooki is a support service dedicated to helping people embrace what makes them unique. Our clients include a wide range of individuals, many with different disabilities and diagnoses, from diverse social, economic, cultural and demographic backgrounds.
About the Role
We are looking for reliable and experienced cleaners to join our team.
In this role, your main responsibility will be to provide high quality cleaning services in clients’ homes.
You will be required to carry out general cleaning duties, including but not limited to:
- Full kitchen cleaning
- Full bathroom cleaning
- Bedroom cleaning and tidying
- Dusting
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Laundry
- Window cleaning
- Linen changing
You will also be expected to:
- Work in line with KOOKI’s vision, mission, values, ethical framework and code of conduct
- Where appropriate, support participants to build their independence with everyday tasks and activities of daily living
- Collaborate, when relevant, with internal and external professionals who support KOOKI participants

- Comfortable working with a diverse range of clients, including children and adults with disabilities
- Able to work independently, and as part of a team when required

Essential Criteria
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain
- Current driver licence (minimum P1)
- Access to your own vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic writing skills to document tasks completed
- Prior experience in cleaning or similar roles
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Own cleaning equipment
- Relevant qualification or certificate
