Looking For:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Blaster, with painting experience to join our team in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for confined space internal tank sand blasting works.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform abrasive blasting, grinding, and high-pressure cleaning to remove old coatings, rust, and contaminants in confined spaces but not limited to.

· Apply protective coatings, including industrial-grade paints, varnishes, and anti-corrosion treatments, using spray guns, brushes, and rollers in confined spaces but not limited to.

· Prepare and mix paints, primers, and sealants to achieve the correct colour, consistency, and durability for different surfaces.

· Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, and containment systems to safely access work areas.

· Inspect surfaces for cracks, damage, or corrosion and perform minor repairs before applying coatings.

· Ensure even and high-quality application of coatings by smoothing, sealing, and preparing surfaces before final finishing.

· Use drop sheets and containment measures to protect adjacent areas and ensure a clean and organized workspace.





· Operate, clean, and maintain painting tools, spray guns, and blasting equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity.

· Follow strict workplace health and safety guidelines, including working in confined spaces and high-risk environments.

· Work closely with supervisors and project managers to ensure tasks are completed on time and to quality standards, reporting any issues as needed.

Skills and Attributes:

· Proven 3 years of experience in industrial painting or in a relevant field may substitute qualifications

· Strong knowledge of different paint types, coating systems, and application techniques.

· Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in industrial environments.

· Familiarity with abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and finishing techniques.

· Commitment to workplace safety and high-quality workmanship.

· White Card and relevant safety certifications.

Job Type & Salary:

· This is a full-time permanent job.

· The base salary will be AUD 75,000- AUD 85,000 plus superannuation.

Working Hours:

- Availability to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
