About The Role
The Storeperson will be required to carry out all of the duties associated with their relevant classification including but not limited to, the efficient and accurate picking, packing, despatching, receiving, checking, replenishment, inventory and distributing of customer orders ready for guaranteed next day delivery, as per Company policy.
The Storeperson will also perform Delivery Driver duties as needed by the company.
Key responsibilities include:
- Pick Pack
- QA Checks
- Receiving Stock
- Pallet Put-away
- Deliveries: These will include desktop deliveries during our Back-To-School season, paper valet services and spill orders from local drivers.
- Backup Driver Support: Provide coverage for driver shifts in the event of illness or absence, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries are maintained.
More about you
To qualify for the role, you must meet the following requirements:
- A current Drivers Licence
- A valid Forklift Licence
- Experience working as a multi drop driver and providing desk top delivery
- You are a driven and passionate individual
- Strong sense of safety and a good understanding of warehouse OHS requirements
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
- Basic Computer Skills including data entry
- Experience working in a warehouse environment preferable
