Housekeeping Attendant

Position Summary
The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for providing high-standard cleaning and presentation of all rooms and nominated common areas. The role ensures the resort maintains a consistent, professional standard for all guest arrivals and stay-overs.
This scope applies equally to contractors engaged to provide cleaning services.
Scope of Duties:
- Departure Cleans
- Weekly Services
- Common Areas
- Waste & Linen Management
- Report low stock levels to management.
- Keep housekeeping rooms and trolleys organised.
- Report maintenance issues (lights, taps, appliances, sliding doors, curtains, blinds).
- Report guest damage immediately with photos.
- Report any hazards or WHS issues.
- Quality Standards Required
- All cleaners—employees or contractors—must meet the resort’s standards:
- Rooms must be completed within the agreed timeframes.
- Presentation must match the SBR cleaning checklist.
- All rooms must be inspected as “guest-ready” before handover.
Job Types: Part time, Casual, Freelance
Pay: $28.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
