Shangri-La Sydney is a 565 Room luxury 5 star hotel allowing our diners and guests in accommodation to enjoy breath taking views of Darling Harbour, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. The hotel has a number of Food and Beverage outlets including Blu Bar, Altitude our signature restaurant, In Room Dining and the Lobby Lounge. We also have extensive banqueting facilities.
An incredible opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Guest Relations Officer to join Shangri-La Sydney.
As a Guest Relations Officer, you will:
- Establish and maintain goodwill between guests and the hotel.
- Assuring assistance to guests with special requests and requirements, solve problems and assure guest comfort, satisfaction and safety.
- Perform room inspections for VIP reservations prior to their arrival and assure all VIP guests are greeted and given courtesy calls during their stay.
- Co-ordinate the ordering of all guest amenities to assure each guest receives the appropriate amenity prior to arrival.
- Liaise directly and daily with the Senior Receptionist, Rooms Controller and the Groups and Tours Co-ordinator, in relation to arrivals and rooms assigned.
- Greet and escort VIP guests to their rooms as necessary and assure departing guests are farewelled.
- Take responsibility for any tasks required to assure guest satisfaction.
