Horsham Centre Director - Maternity Cover (12 Months)
Contract: 12 months, commencing as 2IC with handover to Centre Director
About Bright Steps Academy

Our brand-recent Horsham Centre will provide a nurturing, engaging environment for children aged 0 to 6 years, where they can explore, learn, and grow. The Opportunity
We are seeking an inspiring and experienced Centre Director to lead our brand-new Horsham Centre on a 12-month maternity cover. This is a fantastic chance to make a real difference in the lives of children, families, and educators while driving excellence in early childhood education and care. The role will begin as 2IC, with a transition to Centre Director to ensure a smooth handover.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to deliver high-quality education and care
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, educators, and the wider community
- Ensure compliance with NQF, regulations, and our strong child safety commitments
- Oversee daily operations, enrolments,
and centre growth
- Foster a culture of collaboration, wellbeing, and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a childcare or early learning setting
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for every child
