Our valued Client has 7 dedicated processing plants across the national footprint, their plants are equipped with advanced rubber re-manufacturing capabilities and they collect over 20 million Tyres per annum with a recycling rate of 99%. They produce complex high quality repurposed material for the local and global market.
Your Duties:
- Sort tyres/recyclable materials according to prescribed criteria
- Operate Forklift move materials for processing, sorting, storing and transporting
- Operate recycling processing equipment including but not limited to crushers, shredders, granulators and sorters to meet or exceed market requirements
- Unload materials from trucks
- Remove contamination from recyclable material
- Load materials into containers
- Maintain production standards
- Monitor equipment operation and report malfunction and other maintenance and repair needs to the Plant Supervisor or Plant Manager
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks
- Maintain inventory records
- Clean plant equipment and work areas
- Perform other duties as per business requirements
- Foster and promote protected working behaviors OHS at all times
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $33.38 – $38.39 per hour
