Job Description – Export Sales Executive
PATAZA Pty Ltd – Merrylands, NSW
Position Overview
The Export Sales Executive is responsible for managing and expanding PATAZA Pty Ltd.'s international sales portfolio in the food and wine export sector. This role focuses on developing robust customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, coordinating export processes, and representing the company in global markets. The position involves international travel and requires strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Market Development
- Manage and grow sales across assigned international markets.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to market expansion strategies.
- Prepare accurate quotations, pricing proposals, and sales presentations.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall company revenue goals.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with distributors, importers, and key customers.
- Provide timely communication, product information, and support to international partners.
- Address customer enquiries, resolve issues, and ensure exceptional service.
Export Coordination & Administration
- Prepare, review, and manage export documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates, and shipping instructions.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipments.
- Track orders, delivery timelines, and follow up with all stakeholders as required.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates.
- Analyse sales performance, pricing structures,
and market trends.
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales database records.
International Travel & Representation
- Travel overseas to visit clients, attend trade shows, and represent the company at industry events.
- Professionally present PATAZA’s product portfolio and brand in global markets.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements
- University degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent Excel proficiency and strong mathematics ability, including pricing and data analysis.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (mandatory).
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in export sales, FMCG, food, wine, or related industries.
- Understanding of international logistics, Incoterms, and export processes.
- Experience working with overseas distributors and clients.
