What the role is
Our Sydney office is seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from industry experts, and contribute to impactful projects in a supportive and innovative environment.
Some of the practical geotechnical activities in the field include (but are not limited to):
- Conduct field investigation work, including logging of boreholes and test pits, and operate specialist equipment to help assess ground conditions using ‘best practice’ methods;
- Manage a variety of subcontractors (such as drilling rigs, CPT rigs, service locators, etc), and be responsible of the successful completion of the work within allotted timeframes and budgets;
- Use QGIS, Slope W and other specialised software to analysis projects and determine solutions;
- Adhere to relevant Work Health and Safety requirements;
- Prepare proposals by scoping investigations to target project outcomes and client requirements;
- Engage in technical report writing.
Given the variety of project work available throughout the year, there is a mix of field work and office-based time.

About You
Bachelor Degree in:
- Engineering – Civil, Geotechnical
Graduate – 2 years’ experience in the industry
