Lazy Bones Café is seeking an experienced and reliable Casual Chef to join our small, well-organised kitchen team. This role offers consistent hours, a supportive environment, and the chance to work in a quality-focused café.
About the Role
2–4 shifts per week
8-hour shifts
Sunday and Monday availability essential
Fortnightly pay
Pay rate: Award-based, aligned with experience and classification
Start date: Late December or January (flexible)
Supportive, organised kitchen
Staff perk: As much coffee as you can drink
Responsibilities
Day-to-day prep and service
Maintaining a clean, organised workstation
Following established recipes and systems
Working efficiently during busy periods
Contributing positively to a small team workplace
About You
Previous café or restaurant kitchen experience
Reliable, punctual,
and able to work independently
Calm and focused during peak times
Strong communication and attention to detail
Suitable for a 2nd/3rd year apprentice or an experienced cook
