About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our Supported Independent Living team. In this role, you will work within participants’ homes to provide daily living support, promote independence, and help maintain a safe and positive household workplace. You will play an essential part in supporting adults with disability to build life skills, develop routines, and engage in the community.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide SIL supports in line with individualised support plans and NDIS goals
- Assist with daily living tasks including meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and household routines
- Deliver personal care supports with dignity and professionalism
- Support participants to build skills such as cooking, budgeting, and self care
- Promote independence, choice, and community participation
- Administer and record medication in line with policy (if medication trained)
- Implement behaviour support strategies and uphold positive behaviour support plans
- Maintain accurate shift notes, incident reporting, and documentation
- Work collaboratively with the broader care team, families, and allied health providers
- Ensure the home workplace remains safe, respectful, and supportive for all residents
About You
- Passionate about supporting people with disability in a home based setting
- Calm, patient, and able to manage complex needs or behaviours respectfully
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering high quality support
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible with availability, including weekends, evenings, sleepovers, and active nights where required
Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Driver licence and reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Medication administration training (or willingness to complete)
- Experience in SIL, supported accommodation, mental health, or complex supports is highly valued
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or similar (preferred but not essential)
