About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trainer & Assessor to join our team on a casual basis. The successful candidate will deliver and assess the following qualifications:
SIT30821 – Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
SIT40521 – Certificate IV in Kitchen Management
SIT50422 – Diploma of Hospitality Management
✅ Key Responsibilities
Deliver face-to-face training sessions in accordance with training packages
Conduct assessments and provide detailed feedback
Maintain accurate and timely student records and progress reports
Support students through their learning journey
Follow all RTO policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Experience & Attributes
Minimum 1 years’ experience training and assessing within an RTO
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Proficiency with administrative and digital systems, including LMS
Qualifications
Relevant vocational qualification at or above the level being delivered
TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
Verified Trainer Matrix, PD Log, and up-to-date industry currency
Additional Requirements
Current ABN and insurances (contractor role)
Reliable transport and availability for weekday and weekend shifts
Right to work in Australia
Willing to complete a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
Experience with online learning platforms (advantageous)
