About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to join our WA Branch in Canning Vale. In this vital role, you will oversee day-to-day operations with a team of approx. 6 team members, ensuring smooth workflows across operations - from inventory management, production scheduling, and logistics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, manage resources effectively, and deliver outstanding service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Ensure seamless execution of daily branch operations, including inventory management, logistics coordination, and production planning of our various manufacturing cells.
- Team Leadership: Support and guide team members to achieve individual and collective goals. Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, optimise resources, and enhance overall operational performance, keeping consistent national processes at the front of mind at all times.
- Customer Satisfaction: Drive a customer-first approach in all operations, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to customer needs.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report key operational metrics to maintain accountability and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Experience: Proven track record in operations management or a related role, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management, and production planning tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to managing resources, tracking performance, and meeting deadlines.
