About the prospect
Join our high-performing Facility Operations team at StarTrack Minchinbury, where every day brings new challenges and even bigger rewards. As a Supervisor, you’ll influence outcomes, uplift performance, and support a culture that puts safety, service, and people first.
What you’ll deliver with us
Reporting to the Duty Manager and working closely with Fleet, Linehaul, and Facility stakeholders, you will lead the daily operation of our freight handling team to ensure safety, productivity, and exceptional service for our customers.
Success in this role looks like:
- safe, efficient, and accurate unloads
- strong scanning compliance
- engaged and motivated teams who know what great looks like
- operations delivered on time, every time
You’ll also
- Lead, coach, and support a team of up to 50 employees to meet operational targets.
- Manage daily rosters, cost-of-freight outcomes, and performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement across processes using Lean and operational excellence principles.
About you
You’re a confident people leader who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment. You stay calm under pressure, lead with clarity, and build trust quickly. You bring a customer-centric mindset,
a safety-first approach, and a natural ability to motivate and influence others. Most importantly, you’re passionate about delivering great service and supporting your team to do their best work.
You’ll also need
- Experience in transport, logistics, freight, or operational environments.
- Proven leadership capability — coaching, developing, and managing teams.
- Strong understanding of CoR, safety, compliance, and working in a KPI/SLA-driven environment.
