G Tyres is seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our workshop in Bibra Lake. This full-time position involves carrying out a wide range of mechanical tasks to ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic assessments
- Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems and related components for repair
- Reassemble engines and mechanical parts after repairs
- Complete scheduled servicing and maintenance work
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Replace worn or faulty components as required
- Maintain accurate job records and service reports
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and compliance guidelines
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Automotive (or higher)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Motor Mechanic in a workshop or similar environment
- Solid diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and customers
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Familiarity with current automotive standards and practices
