We are JAPAN FOODS TRADING, a Japanese food import and wholesale company with over 40 years of history in Victoria. We are currently seeking a Cook / Kitchen Hand for our central kitchen, located at our warehouse.

Position:

Casual or Part-time - Cook / Kitchen Hand

Job Description:

- Main duties include simple food preparation tasks such as cutting vegetables and meat, and making dumplings
- Available to work from 7:00AM to 3:00PM
- Flexible working schedule of about 3 days per week between Monday to Friday

Required Skills:

- Experience is preferred (Ideal for someone with previous kitchen experience who wants to learn new techniques and skills related to Japanese cuisine)
- Able to work cooperatively with colleagues
- Able to manage food and hygiene
- English proficiency – Able to communicate effectively in daily conversations and during work
- Hardworking and diligent
- Must have full working rights in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency, student, or working holiday visa, etc.)
- MUST be able to work for at least 6 months
- Must be able to commute to Rowville,
