General Activity Officer – Full Time
Location: PCYC Glebe-Leichhardt

PCYC NSW is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated General Activity Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing high-quality service to our members, supporting the administration of programs, and helping grow our membership base — all while ensuring a safe and positive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist members in the Club who are attending PCYC activities and programs
- Administer booking system and front desk terminal
- Proactively grow PCYC activity participation and membership
- Answer phone, email and in-person enquiries to finalise booking and enquiry solutions.
- Participate in the delivery of PCYC programs such as the School Holiday Program.
- Complete facility opening and closing times as scheduled
- Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming Club environment
- Build and maintain positive relationships with members and the local community
- Maintain certifications such as First Aid and CPR
- Assist with administrative and reporting tasks to support the Club’s operation
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid administrative and organisational abilities
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or member growth
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
- Cert III or IV in Fitness (not essential, but highly desirable), and/or
- Social Media experience (not essential, but highly desirable)
Additional Information:
- This is a full time position based at PCYC Glebe-Leichhardt
- Weekend work is required – penalty rates apply
- Flexibility to work across other metro clubs is highly desirable
