Business Support Coordinator (Casual – Work From Home)

Safety Forward is a values-driven WHS consultancy based in Tasmania, supporting small, medium and family run businesses across Australia. We are a small team, who partner with incredible human beings to improve safety, culture and capability in businesses across our commuinity.

We’re looking for a Business Support Coordinator to become the operational backbone of the business. This role is ideal for someone who loves systems, tidy processes, and helping work run smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a casual, work-from-home role with flexibility and the opportunity to grow as the business grows. The role will average around 10 hours per week (with variation), and additional hours may become available over time.

About the role

We are a growing company, and this is a role where you get to help build something from the ground up. You’ll be the steady organiser of our systems and documentation, and support improved workflows and team rhythm. You’ll help create structure, order, and calm as the business grows.

As the business grows, this role is designed to evolve into a more strategic position focused on business systems improvement. For the right person, guided by your strengths and the needs of the business, this may include overseeing and delegating routine admin to future support roles.

What you’ll be doing

Systems & Document Organisation





- Build and maintain tidy SharePoint libraries

- Format and polish documents to Safety Forward’s standards

- Maintain consistent naming, structure, and version control

Workflow & ClickUp Coordination

- Keep ClickUp tasks, dates, and deliverables accurate

- Maintain tidy, real-time workflow systems

- Learn and apply ClickUp features over time

Admin & Operational Support

- Organise inboxes, calendars, and meeting preparation

- Support client onboarding administration

- Maintain tracking sheets, KPIs, and reporting data

Tech & AI-Supported Organisation

- Use tools such as Microsoft 365, ClickUp, ActiveCampaign, Calendly, Xero admin, and others

- Learn new systems using tutorials, Google, and AI

- Use AI (ChatGPT + Brain) to streamline admin and reduce manual work

Team Rhythm Support

- Keep communication flowing

- Follow up on stuck tasks

- Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly workflow rhythms

Who we’re looking for

Someone who is:

- Organised, practical, grounded

- A natural “tidy-upperer” who likes things to make sense

- Confident navigating new systems and figuring things out

- Curious with technology and AI

- Strong with detail — formatting, names, dates, accuracy

- Happy to ask questions and clarify instructions

- Comfortable “managing up” and surfacing bottlenecks





- Interested in growing with the business over time

You don’t need to be a systems or AI expert, but you do need to be deeply curious and driven to understand how things work — and make them better. This role suits someone who learns quickly and genuinely enjoys improving how things work.

If you prefer sticking to the status quo, this isn’t your role — we’re looking for someone who enjoys making things better, not just keeping things ticking over.

Hours & Flexibility

- Casual role averaging around 10 hours per week
