Zeal Futures, in partnership with our Host Employer, Narellan Pools is offering an exciting opportunity for a hands-on individual to start their career as an Apprentice Pool Manufacturer. Complete a Certificate III in Engineering – Composites over a period of 48 months.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As an apprentice, You’ll gain valuable skills working alongside experienced tradespeople, learning every stage of the pool production process from start to finish, including:
- Mould Preparation: Sanding, buffing, waxing, and getting moulds ready for spraying.
- Production: Learning how pools are laminated and built using fibreglass and gel coat spraying techniques.
- Detailing: Sanding, buffing, and repairing any imperfections before pools are sent out.
- Mould Maintenance: Refreshing and maintaining moulds for reuse.
- This is a hands-on role that will teach you practical skills and techniques in composite engineering and pool manufacturing.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Willing to learn both on the job and off the job.
- You’re able to work safely around chemicals, including those used in pool production.
- Excels in a team and participates in collaborating towards team goals.
- Holds a P1 or higher driver's licence (or is actively working towards one) - desirable but not essential.
- Ability and willingness to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical which will also involve and Audiometry, Functional Capacity and Drug and Alcohol Assessment.
