About the role

As an Outreach Library Assistant, you will be a key player in delivering library services to our customers across the Gold Coast.

You will be travelling through the Gold Coast in our Library van, so a current “C” class driver licence is essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

- delivering library items and other resources to our network of libraries

- delivering library items to home library customers

- providing customer service on the Mobile Library

- re- stocking library kiosks

- maintaining remote little libraries

- processing of new and returned library items

We're looking for people who have:

- possess emotional maturity and resilience, with the ability to make meaningful connections with our diverse customer base

- are proficient with technology, including ipads, and able to quickly learn how to use new software applications





- prioritise safety and follow all WHS directions

- have great customer service skills

- are physically fit and able to load and unload up to 400 crates per day (weighing up to 16kgs each)
