Reporting to the Group Chief People Officer, we are seeking a Head of Human Resources who will be responsible for setting and executing the Group’s People strategy, leading HR transformation, strengthening organisational capability, and ensuring high-performing HR and payroll functions across the business.
The Role
In this newly created role, the Head of Human Resources will serve as a trusted advisor to the Group’s Executive team, working closely with executives and senior leaders to provide expert guidance on all people-related matters. The role will provide insight and recommendations on workforce, culture, and leadership matters, providing strategic leadership across all HR and payroll functions, ensuring alignment with the Group’s vision and business objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement People strategies that support the Group’s growth, operational performance, and long-term goals.
- Lead HR transformation initiatives, including digitalisation, process optimisation, and organisational design improvements.
- Oversee talent acquisition, development, learning, performance management, remuneration, and people analytics to attract, retain, and grow top talent.
- Drive programs that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion while promoting a high-performance culture.
- Provide strategic oversight of payroll operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all businesses.
- Support change management, organisational transformation, and M&A; initiatives, including integration planning and cultural alignment.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR and Payroll teams, fostering collaboration, capability, and a service-focused mindset across the Group.
- Partner with business leaders to ensure workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational design are aligned to business objectives.
- Monitor HR metrics and use data-driven insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve organisational performance.
- Maintain compliance with employment law, industrial agreements, and HR policies across all business units.
- Build strong relationships with external partners, consultants, and stakeholders to support HR initiatives and best practices.
About You
You are an experienced HR leader with a proven track record in complex, multi-business environments. You bring:
- Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Organisational Development, or a related discipline, or substantial equivalent experience.
- Senior HR leadership experience in a large, complex, fast-paced organisation, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Proven success delivering people strategies and leading high-performing HR teams.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing payroll and other HR operations within a multi-business environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and advisory skills,
with the ability to influence senior leaders and contribute to executive decision-making.
- Deep knowledge across HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, learning and development, organisational development, performance management, remuneration, industrial/employee relations, and people analytics.
- Experience leading organisational change and transformation projects, including workforce design, capability building, and cultural initiatives.
