Saboteurs is a energetic and innovative company specialising in organising immersive and interactive games for all occasions. Inspired by the online game ‘Among Us’ , offering a real-life experience in a sci-fi-themed world. We are passionate about creating unforgettable experiences and are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team in running these thrilling games.
We will be employing 6 x game operators, ideally 2 will have some type of electronics background and one will be the team leader/manager.
Position Overview:
We are looking for happy, friendly and diligent individuals to join our team as Game Site Operators. As a Game Site Operator, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for assisting and running 'Saboteurs' games at various events, including birthday parties, corporate team-building events, and more. You'll play a key role in ensuring that our games run smoothly, providing participants with a fantastic and memorable experience.
For those with leadership aspirations we will also be looking for a team leader for the Springfield site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and Preparation: Assist in setting up the game space, including arranging props, equipment, and decorations according to the event's theme.
- Game Facilitation: Oversee and facilitate the game, ensuring participants understand their roles and tasks. Answer questions and provide guidance throughout the game.
- Player Engagement: Interact with participants,
create a fun and engaging atmosphere, and encourage teamwork and communication among players.
- Problem Solving: Be prepared to handle unexpected situations, resolve conflicts, and make quick decisions to maintain the flow of the game.
- Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and well-being of participants by enforcing safety guidelines and responding to emergencies or concerns.
- Game Set up and Pack down: Assist in packing up equipment, cleaning the game space, and returning props and materials to their storage.
2 keys to being successful at Saboteurs:
- Being proactive: being inside the games to assist players and facilitate having fun.
- Sticking to the schedule: being efficient and making sure our bookings run to our schedule.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Problem-solving and quick decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
