Pro-Fit Physio is a long-standing pillar of the community. We have been servicing the community for a staggering 25 years and in this time have developed deep friendships with all our patients. We pride ourselves on our reputation as one of the best providers in the area and we want to see that legacy continued with every new member that comes onboard. Pro-Fit Physio has a team of more than 12 practitioners which include physiotherapists, psychologists, dietitians, women’s health and exercise physiologists.

About the role:

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in ensuring every visit to Pro-Fit Physio and Allied Health Centre is a welcoming and professional experience. This role involves a mix of patient-facing communication, administrative coordination, and practitioner support in a busy multidisciplinary clinic.

Key Responsibilities

· Greet patients and manage front-desk operations with professionalism.

· Handle phone and in-person bookings using PPMP (training provided).

· Support practitioners through accurate admin, filing, and record management.

· Process payments, invoices, Medicare, and third-party claims.





· Maintain clinic presentation and assist with general office tasks.

· Communicate clearly with patients and our therapists.

· Use initiative to solve problems and keep the clinic running smoothly.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone with proven experience in a busy reception or customer service environment—ideally within allied health, medical, or similar professional settings. This is a fast-paced and demanding role that requires robust organisation, initiative, and attention to detail.

- Prior experience in medical or allied health reception preferred (PPMP or similar software experience highly regarded).

- Confident managing multiple practitioners, patient bookings, and competing priorities.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a warm and professional manner.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while supporting a close-knit team.

- Strong computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new systems.

- Committed to maintaining confidentiality and high professional standards.

- Availability for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday shifts (approximately 25 hours per fortnight), with flexibility to cover leave when needed.
