Are you looking for something new in 2026? We have a vacancy for an Internal Sales/Customer Support skilled within our Professional Contractor Service Centre at Oakleigh. In this busy and varied role, you will contribute to the growth of our business while delivering quality service to our Skilled Contractor customers. This could suit a TAFE graduate, or equivalent, who is interested in developing a career in Sales in the construction/automotive industry.

You will be responsible for providing excellent service to our Skilled Contractor customers, covering areas such as phone and over-the-counter sales, customer support for diamond tools and spare parts & accessories, warehousing, stock control, support for the external sales force, invoicing, administration, and workplace health and safety.

Key responsibilities:

- Handle phone and over-the-counter sales, assisting customers with their inquiries, and providing product recommendations based on their needs.

- Support customers in identifying and purchasing diamond tools, spare parts, and accessories.

- Assist in managing stock control, ensuring accurate inventory levels and conducting regular stock counts.

- Collaborate with the external sales force,



providing them with the necessary support and information.

- Process invoices and maintain accurate records of transactions.

- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

- Continuously learn about our products and services and gain a mechanical aptitude to provide technical assistance to customers and develop strong relationships with them.

- Be willing to gain forklift licence and learn inventory management techniques to assist with efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements:

- Willingness to develop your customer service skills in a service trade centre environment.

- Understanding of basic mechanics and be willing to learn the technical aspects of products.

- Strong willingness to learn, help others, and deliver exceptional customer service.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficient in using computer systems and to learn new systems.
