The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Dental Officers to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide quality treatment in all areas of general dental clinical practice
- Manage, treat, and prevent dental diseases
- Record and maintain client and statistical information adequately
- Supervise clinical final year undergraduate dental students
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary degree in Dentistry or equivalent
- AHPRA Registration
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Driver Licence
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time and temporary full time or temporary part time (several positions up to 9 months, minimum requirement of 45.6 hrs p.f.)
- Base salary ranging from $127 801 - $149 499 per annum, $4 898.60 - $5 730.30 per fortnight, $64.45 - $75.39 per hour
About Us
Oral Health Service provides quality clinical dental treatment to eligible patients within the community, via community dental clinics and via mobile services across Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. The Dentists will provide general dental care to those eligible patients from community dental clinics.
