Overview: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in laundry and garment care. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of premium and luxury brands, and the ability to identify fabric types, garment conditions, and potential damages. This role also supports dry-cleaning operations and ensures a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Garment Assessment & Handling
- Inspect garments upon intake to identify brand, fabric type, stains, and potential risks.
- Accurately determine cleaning requirements and flag items requiring special care.
- Document and report damages or concerns prior to processing.
- Client & Customer Service
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding garment care, turnaround time, and pricing.
- Provide professional recommendations on garment treatment options.
- Handle negotiations,
service upgrades, and special request communications with professionalism and confidence.
- Operations Support
- Assist in dry-cleaning and laundry operations as needed.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure garments are processed according to standard procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and high-standard work environment.
- Quality Control
- Ensure all garments meet premium quality standards before release to clients.
- Conduct final inspections and ensure proper packaging and presentation.
- Process Improvement
- Suggest workflow enhancements to support efficiency, customer satisfaction, and brand consistency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in laundry, dry-cleaning, or garment care operations
- Strong understanding of luxury and premium clothing brands
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and garment inspection accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-focused workplace
- Customer-first mindset with strong professionalism
