ICE Engineering & Construction is a specialist Electrical and Instrumentation Installation company operating nationally across the Mining, Renewables, Utilities, Defence and Hydrocarbon sectors.
As part of the Tasmea Group, we deliver high-quality E&I; services across major industrial sites, including long-standing works at the Port Pirie Smelter.
We are currently seeking an experienced Local Electrical Supervisor to support ongoing maintenance, project, and shutdown preparation activities at the Port Pirie site. This role is local only, working Monday to Friday (5:2 Roster) driving in and out of site daily.
About the Role
You will provide day-to-day supervision and coordination of electrical works across maintenance and project activities.
This position offers stability, leadership responsibility, and opportunity for a skilled supervisor based in Port Pirie or surrounding areas.
What We’re Looking For
- Current South Australian Electrical Licence (mandatory)
- Proven experience supervising teams (approx. 10–20 people)
- Strong background in industrial, maintenance, and/or brownfield environments
- Experience with client and site permitting systems
- Prior experience at Port Pirie Smelter (highly regarded)
Mandatory Requirements
- SA Electrical Licence
- White Card
- Confined Space Entry (within 2 years)
- Working at Heights (within 2 years)
- High-Risk Licence - EWP
- Valid driver’s licence (daily DIDO required)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing
Role Details
- Location: Port Pirie Smelter
- Roster: Monday–Friday | 5:2
- Hours: Standard day shifts (with occasional weekend/project work as required)
- Travel: Local DIDO only – must drive in/out each day
