This is a Social Executive role with Akcelo based in Redfern, Sydney, Australia.

Akcelo is an independent Brand Experience agency delivering powerful brand experiences that people love. We fuse creativity with experience design to solve business problems and generate white-space opportunities for the likes of McDonald’s, PepsiCo, Tinder and TikTok.

We are looking for a Social Executive who is passionate about the areas that drive our brands and influence our audiences. Our ideal candidates' interests range from music, food to the latest TikTok trends.

As a Social Executive you will understand the nuances of consumer behaviour on social media, turn social behaviour into genuine creative thought starters, and adapt to the brand’s tone of voice across platforms.

Responsibilities

- Assisting and proactively bringing forward insights/behaviours/opportunities for ideation, jump‑off points and creative executions
- Ideate quickly for snappy responses, quick captions or hashtags
- Find opportunities and trending moments for brands to stay relevant
- Report for duty – distil large amounts of data and information into insightful reports for brand and insights teams
- Understand the different social channels and formats, and adapt creative to fit them while pushing boundaries
- Moderation and engagement extraordinaire of owned social channels for brands across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest
- Work collaboratively with creatives, strategists,



social folk, and clients to deliver best practice

Qualifications

- Confident communication skills to energetically engage stakeholders and articulate thoughts
- Comfortability with shooting content for social
- A passion for subcultures and the desire to share personal insights
- Ability to juggle multiple brands and tones of voice simultaneously
- Strong written skills & attention to detail
- Comfortable working under urgency, context switching, resourceful and proactive

- Willingness to grow with the business
