About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated health service team, providing quality customer service to patients, staff, and the public.

The role involves delivering respectful and efficient support, managing patient information accurately, and performing a range of administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

You'll work collaboratively with staff across the service, uphold confidentiality, and model the SWSLHD Core Values and NSW Health Code of Conduct while contributing to a positive, patient‑focused environment.

What You'll be Doing

The Clerical Relief Clerk / Administration Officer provides a range of administrative support to Wards / Units within Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals.

Where You'll Be Working

Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals, part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District, work together to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the Macarthur region.

Campbelltown Hospital, a leading tertiary facility, offers a wide range of services including cardiology, maternity, palliative care, respiratory medicine, emergency medicine, and aged‑care services.

It also features specialised Mental Health and Cancer facilities.

Camden Hospital complements these services by specialising in care for older persons with acute or chronic health conditions, including rehabilitation, palliative care, geriatric evaluation and management, and psychogeriatric care.





The hospitals share a close‑knit, community‑focused team dedicated to delivering safe, quality, and compassionate care.

The ongoing multi‑million dollar redevelopment at Campbelltown Hospital will further enhance its capabilities, introducing advanced equipment and amenities.

Together, these sister hospitals ensure that the diverse needs of the community are met with excellence and innovation in healthcare.

- Ability to function in a multidisciplinary team setting and also work independently with minimal supervision as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on high quality customer service.
- Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment, undertaking a diverse range of tasks within a high‑pressure work environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electronic systems and computer software with attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
