Schnits Frozen Foods Pty Ltd. is expanding and we are seeking an experienced Line/Machine Operator to join our production team at our Bibra Lake facility. This is a hands-on role operating production machinery, ensuring consistent product quality and keeping our processing lines running safely and efficiently.
Immediate Start Required.
About The Role:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will:
- Operate, adjust and troubleshoot production and packaging machinery.
- Perform start-up, shutdown and cleaning procedures.
- Conduct routine quality checks, including weights, temperatures and product specifications.
- Assist with line changeovers and machine setup.
- Follow HACCP, GMP and Food Safety standards at all times.
- Support a safe, efficient and positive production environment.
- Complete all production and quality documentation accurately.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential
- Previous experience in food, beverage, FMCG or manufacturing machinery operation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Understanding of HACCP,
GMP and basic food safety requirements.
- Ability to follow SOPs, safety rules and quality processes.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to safe work practices.
- Ability to work in cold, fast-paced, repetitive environments and meet production targets.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Full Australian Working Rights (permanent resident, citizen, or unrestricted visa).
Desirable
- Forklift licence (LF).
- Experience in high-care or chilled food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement processes or lean manufacturing.
- Experience with documentation, quality checks and recording production data.
- Mechanical or technical training/qualifications.
- Experience working with automated or semi-automated machinery.
