About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated (Assistant) Restaurant Manager to join our team at The Quarters in Esperance, WA. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving the overall success of the business.
What you'll be doing
- Managing and coordinating restaurant staff, including scheduling, training and performance management
- Ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably by monitoring inventory, controlling costs and maximising revenue
- Providing excellent customer service and resolving any customer issues or complaints
- Overseeing the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to the highest standards
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and licensing requirements
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve the customer experience and drive business growth
- Collaborating with the wider team to contribute to the overall success of the business
- Assisting the Restaurant Manager with the organisation of the restaurant.
What we're looking for
- Significant experience in a restaurant management role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Excellent leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Robust customer service orientation and the ability to provide a exceptional dining experience
- Proficiency in inventory management, cost control and financial reporting
- Knowledge of health, safety and licensing regulations in the hospitality industry
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding results
